Update on the asylum process

Currently, the Asylum Office is experiencing lengthy delays in scheduling asylum interviews. In the San Francisco Asylum Office, backlogs date back to cases filed as early as 2015, which cases still have not been scheduled for an interview.

It is difficult to predict how long the wait time is between filing and an interview. I would estimate several years or more.

Due to this wait time, the law office of Hedi Framm-Anton is no longer filing affirmative applications - ONLY DEFENSIVE (in Immigration Court).
